Don’t

It has always been the duty of the teacher to teach us. It has always been the duty of a politician to bring in change and pave the way for development in the country. You sit back, relax and watch the controversies, and in case you miss something, create a controversy of your own.

Yes, this is happening. Be it any movie controversy or any movement or ill-will spoke against any caste, people’s participation in bringing any change or to stop the anti-peace situation is less or almost negligible. The agenda makers come up with their motto, perform their foolish acts of violence, disrupt daily life, and then hide in their caves. The police are the authorities to handle them. Why we? We have become so narcissist in the true sense that we see with our eyes what is happening, shoot it in a man-made device, send it out to the world of media, then see that drama for the next three-four days and then react to it if it was correct. Instead, what if in the very first place we would have shut our device and open our mouth and brought our sense of responsibility and expressed our rage in the correct way and in the best time?

Social media has brought in waves of methods to show our anger and protest in the virtual world. Talking about the actual world, the outrage of the people stays in their mind and then they pinpoint the flaws in the system. Commenting vaguely and fighting over petty issues is what we excel in.
So you don’t speak up about your problems, you don’t fight to get what is right; you don’t come in between the matters which require your attention because what is important to yourself will be your preference. Let the politicians destroy our roots, let the mega-companies pollute our river, let the propaganda speakers disturb our senses, let the virtual world hinder the real-world issues, we’ll be at our seat unless the heat does not affect us. How much you try to run away from the problem, to some extent it will affect your life.
