China's master plan to conquer the world
Borders issues, Cyber attacks and the growing tension with the USA resembles the growing global influence of China
Latest in the list of cyber events, Chinese hackers attacked various Indian government ministries. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting were the target of the attacks. The attacks were carried by the groups Gothic Panda and Stone Panda who are said to be in close calls with the Xi Jinping government.
The nature of the attack is said to be phishing campaigns and data extraction but a much bigger plan was underway. These attacks are said to the aftermath of the Indian Government boycotting Chinese goods and laying out a nation-wide campaign of ‘Boycotting Chinese’ items.
According to Maharashtra Cyber officials, these hackers are suspected to have a database of some 20 lakh Indian email IDs, reports NDTV.

In another turn of global events, the border issue between China and India is not yet settled. With both the countries losing their army men, the tension is growing with the Chinese soldiers setting up more settlements and camps near the LAC.

With the arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou in Canada, the Chinese have answered the arrest by arresting two Canadians Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig. The Chinese have asked for a prisoner swap to which Justin Trudeau, Canadian PM said,
“If countries around the world, including China, realize that by arbitrarily arresting random Canadians they can get what they want out of Canada politically, well, that makes an awful lot more Canadians who travel around the world vulnerable to that kind of pressure,”

The rising tension with Canada has bounded the Chinese authorities to carry out any activity in the west. With Canada and its neighbour the USA, the Chinese counterparts are unable to respond. With China importing oil from Venezuela despite the sanctions laid out by the USA has resulted in more hate and rivalry between Washington and Beijing.
Relations between the USA and China have deteriorated more. With the Covid-19 epidemic affecting the USA with the highest casualties in the world, Washington and Beijing are in tough talks. With Trump assuring aid to India in the India-China border dispute, tension among both the superpowers has led to numerous crises and economic disrupt.
In another shocker between the ongoing scuffle between the USA and China, the USA authorities have designated 4 Chinese media outlets as propaganda machines. The state-run CCTV, the China News Service, the People’s Daily newspaper, and the Global Times are the media outlets.
State Department officials said the four organizations, including state-run CCTV, would be required to submit a list of everyone who works for them in the U.S.
Tension for China does not end here. A civil disrupt between China Mainland and Hong Kong has resulted in the fleeing of protestors from Hong Kong to Taiwan. Taiwan has quietly allowed dozens of protesters to stay on the island, and it is now offering support for Hongkongers to move there when Beijing imposes the new national security law.

Giving shelter to “the rioters and elements who bring chaos to Hong Kong will only continue to bring harm to Taiwan’s people,” says China’s Taiwan Affairs Office.
Although the law is now in action, Beijing to date receives flak from countries like Canada, UK, and the USA in its approach towards capturing Hong Kong.
From Cybercrime to Oil warfare, China surely aims to dominate the global arena. With China’s aim of global reach coming to a fall, nations around the world have realized to stay put. The increasing civil tension and global unrest in the times of Covid-19 have led to a tarnishable global image of China.
As China’s relation with India deteriorate and on the other hand Pakistan lays a helping hand to China, it creates a more sceptical scenario in Asia. With unrest in the South China Sea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, the communist regime aims to handle territorial disputes with violence.
